To make the simple syrup, first chop the Fresh Ginger (1 tsp). Peel 5 twists of tangerines from the Tangerine (1) then cut it into 4 wedges.

Then, combine the ginger, Granulated Sugar (1/2 cup), Water (1/2 cup), Tangerine Peels, and Bourbon Vanilla Extract (1 Tbsp) in a saucepan. Boil until sugar dissolves, strain, and let cool.

Shake vigorously until frosty. Fill a glass with Ice (to taste) then strain contents of mixer tin into the glass. Top off with Sparkling Orange Water (to taste).
